Hint: focus on more of the good gut foods.



Your gut is pretty cool and amazing. In fact, many people in the wellness space today believe that health begins in the gut.

I’ve been obsessed with gut health for a number of years now. When I was in my late 20s, I took a pretty strong round of antibiotics for a month. Throw into the mix years of taking birth control pills, stress, an unhealthy diet, low fiber intake and too much coffee, sugar and wine, and my gut was in a pretty bad place. I had a LOT of digestive symptoms: gas, bloating and constipation. 

I began to focus more on feeding my gut bacteria the right foods it needs to thrive and function well, and now my gut is as healthy as I can ever remember it being. Life is a lot better without unpleasant digestive symptoms. They were affecting my quality of life in so many ways and keeping me from doing things I love which is why I want to help others who are dealing with similar issues. I’ve been there.

So how did I get my gut in a better place? One of the things I focused on most was bringing more gut-healthy foods into my daily diet.
